Adding and Discovering Events
The Add Events section allows you to create your own events and discover events from other providers. This helps you promote sessions, workshops, and offerings while also staying connected to what is happening across Healing Sky.
This page includes two main areas:
- My Events
- Recommended Events
My Events Tab
This is where you manage events you personally create.
If no events are listed, you will see a prompt to create one. Once events are created, they will appear here.
Add Event Button
Located in the top right corner.
Use this to create a new event that will appear on your calendar and can be visible to others depending on settings.
This is ideal for:
- Workshops
- Group sessions
- Webinars
- In-person events
- Virtual classes
- Special announcements tied to a date
How to Add an Event
When you click Add Event, a form appears.
Each field helps organize and categorize your event properly so it shows up in search and discovery.
Event Title
Enter a clear and descriptive name.
Examples:
- Mindfulness for Anxiety Workshop
- Trauma Recovery Group Session

Sound Bath Healing Experience
Keep it specific. This improves visibility and search results.
Category
Select the main category that best fits your event.
You must also choose:
- Provider Type
- Conditional Type

Treatment Modalities
This classification determines where your event appears across the platform.
Sub-Category, Group, Sub-Group
These allow more detailed classification.
Use them to:
- Improve discoverability
- Help the right audience find your event

Ensure it appears under the correct specialty
Choose the most accurate options based on the topic.
Intended Audience
Select who the event is for:
- Client Users
- Providers

General Public
This helps target visibility and ensures your event reaches the right type of viewer.
Age Group
Select the appropriate age range if relevant.
Helpful for:
- Pediatric sessions
- Teen groups
- Adult-only workshops
- Senior-focused events
Sub Types
Further refines your event classification.
Use this when your event fits into a specific niche within a broader category.
Date Selector
Choose the start and end date.
This determines:
- When it appears on the calendar
- When users can register or attend
Time
Select:
- Begin Time

End Time
Be accurate. This ensures proper scheduling and prevents overlap with other events.
Onsite Toggle
If toggled on, this indicates the event is in person.
When turned on:

You must enter a physical address
If off:
- The event is virtual
Address
Only required for in-person events.
Enter:
- Full street address
- City
- State

Zip code
This allows attendees to see the event location clearly.
Description
Provide detailed information about the event.
Include:
- What participants will learn
- Who it is for
- What to expect
- Duration

Any materials needed
The more specific and clear, the better your attendance rate.
Create Button
Click Create to publish the event to your calendar.
It will then appear in:
- My Events
- Your calendar
- Platform discovery if applicable
Recommended Events Tab
This section helps you discover events from other providers.
It is divided into filters:
- Local
- National

Global
These filters allow you to explore events based on geographic relevance.
Sections Inside Recommended Events
You may see categories such as:
- Recommended Events for You
- Most Popular Upcoming Events
- Trending Upcoming Events

Newest Providers Upcoming Events
These sections help you:
- Stay aware of platform activity
- Network with other providers
- Discover collaboration opportunities

Understand trending topics
If no events appear, it means none match your current filters.
