How to Use Your Calendar

The My Calendar page allows providers to manage their schedule, sessions, live events, and Healing Sky activities in one centralized location. This calendar helps you stay organized, plan ahead, and ensure your availability is clearly structured.

It supports personal organization, client-facing events, and platform-based programming.


Page Header: My Calendar

Purpose:

Gives you a visual overview of your upcoming and past events within a calendar format.

This is your operational scheduling hub inside Healing Sky.


Calendar Navigation Controls

Month and Year Display (e.g., February 2026)

Displays the current month you are viewing.

Back and Forward Arrows

Allows you to move between months.

Use this to:

  • Review past events
  • Plan future sessions
  • Confirm long-term programming schedules


Today Button

Returns you instantly to the current date.

Helpful when you are navigating future months and want to jump back quickly.


View Selector: Day | Week | Month

This allows you to change how your calendar is displayed.

Day View

Best for:

  • Seeing detailed daily schedules
  • Managing multiple sessions in one day


Week View

Best for:

  • Reviewing workload distribution
  • Planning availability
  • Seeing patterns in client bookings


Month View

Best for:

  • Big-picture planning
  • Mapping recurring workshops
  • Scheduling content and live events

+ Add Events Button

This opens the Add Event form.

Use this when you want to:

  • Schedule a live session
  • Add a client appointment
  • Block off unavailable time
  • Create a workshop or group event
  • Add personal reminders related to your practice

Add Event Modal Breakdown

When you click + Add Events, the event creation window appears.

Each field is important for organization and visibility.


Title

What to enter:

The name of your event.

Examples:

  • Weekly Mindfulness Group
  • Client Session: J. Smith
  • Sound Bath Workshop
  • Provider Strategy Meeting


Keep it clear and descriptive.


Category

This connects your event to Healing Sky’s structured taxonomy.

After selecting a category, you will define:

  • Provider Type
  • Conditional Type
  • Treatment Modalities
  • Sub-Category
  • Group
  • Sub-Group


Why this matters:

  • Helps organize your events
  • Aligns content with platform search
  • Keeps your calendar categorized consistently
  • Supports internal tracking


Choose the most relevant classification for the session topic.


Intended Audience

Select who this event is for:

  • Client Users
  • Providers
  • General Public


Why this matters:

  • Helps clarify the type of event
  • Keeps internal organization structured
  • May impact how events appear across the platform

Age Group and Sub Types

Use these fields if the event is specific to:

  • Children
  • Teens
  • Adults
  • Seniors
  • Specialty populations


This improves clarity and relevance.


Date Selector

Choose the start and end date of the event.

Use this for:

  • Single-day events
  • Multi-day workshops
  • Recurring programs


Make sure your dates are accurate to prevent confusion.


Time: Begin Time to End Time

Enter your session start and end times.

Be precise. This prevents overlaps and ensures proper calendar management.


Onsite Toggle

This determines whether the event is in-person.

If toggled on:

  • You must provide an address.


If toggled off:

  • The event is virtual.


Use this correctly to avoid client confusion.


Address Field

Only required if the event is onsite.

Enter:

  • Full street address
  • Suite number if applicable
  • Any helpful location details

Description

This is where you provide details about the event.

Include:

  • What participants can expect
  • Session goals
  • What to bring
  • Preparation instructions
  • Duration
  • Cost if applicable


Be clear and concise.

This improves professionalism and reduces follow-up questions.


Create Button

Once all fields are completed, click Create to add the event to your calendar.

The event will then appear in your selected view.


Cancel Button

Closes the event form without saving.
