How to Use the “Add Video” Page

To upload a new video:

  1. Go to Dashboard
  2. Click Video Content
  3. Select Add Video

This page allows you to upload, optimize, categorize, and monetize your video content.

Section 1: Video Details

Video Title *

This is required.

What to Enter:

Use a clear, searchable, benefit-driven title.

Good examples:

  • “3 Breathing Techniques for Anxiety Relief”
  • “How Strength Training Supports Mental Health”
  • “Cold Therapy for Trauma Recovery Explained”

Avoid:

  • One-word titles
  • Vague names like “Session 1” or “Video”

Why It Matters:

  • Impacts search results
  • Affects click-through rate
  • Determines first impression

Think clarity over creativity.

Video URL

This may auto-populate depending on upload method.

If uploading directly, this may remain “NA.”

If embedding or linking (if enabled later), this will contain the video link.

Video Description *

Required.

Up to 2,500 words.

What to Include:

  • What the video covers
  • Who it’s for
  • What problem it solves
  • Key takeaways
  • Any disclaimers (if necessary)

Example structure:

  1. Opening summary (2–3 sentences)
  2. Bullet points of what’s covered
  3. Who should watch this
  4. Call-to-action (follow, subscribe, book session)

Why It Matters:

Descriptions improve:

  • Search visibility
  • Viewer retention
  • Professional credibility

Do not leave this short or empty.

Video in a Different Language

Check this box if:

  • The video is not in English
  • You are targeting multilingual audiences

This helps with filtering and audience matching.

Keywords (Limit 5) *

Required.

Add up to 5 focused keywords.

What to Enter:

Use specific searchable phrases.

Examples:

  • Anxiety management
  • Trauma therapy
  • Behavioral health
  • Strength conditioning
  • Holistic wellness

Avoid:

  • Generic words like “health”
  • Repeating your title exactly
  • Overstuffing

Why This Matters:

Keywords directly affect search discoverability.

Choose strategically.

Section 2: Upload Video

On the right side:

You can:

  • Drag and drop
  • Click to upload

Accepted format:

  • MP4 only

Best Practices:

  • Use clear audio
  • Ensure professional lighting
  • Keep under 10–20 minutes for higher engagement
  • Add a strong opening in first 10 seconds

After upload, the video will process and appear in your content library.

Section 3: Subscriber Video Access

Toggle: Subscriber-Only Video Access

When enabled:

  • Only active subscribers can view the video
  • Non-subscribers can purchase one-time access

Default price is shown (example: $19.99).

When to Use Subscriber-Only

Use this for:

  • Premium education
  • Deep-dive workshops
  • Specialized training
  • Paid programs

Do NOT lock:

  • Introductory content
  • Discovery videos
  • Basic awareness videos

Free videos grow followers.

Premium videos monetize followers.

Balance both.

Section 4: Audience Settings

This section determines who sees your content in search and recommendations.

This is critical.

Intended Audience *

Required.

Select who this content is for.

Examples:

  • Clients
  • Providers
  • Both

Choose accurately. This controls recommendation logic.

Age Group

Select appropriate age ranges.

Examples:

  • 0–5
  • 6–12
  • 13–17
  • 18–34
  • 35+

Only select ages relevant to the video topic.

This improves matching.

Gender

If the video is gender-specific (e.g., postpartum health, men’s mental health), select accordingly.

If not gender-specific, leave broad.

Category *

Required.

This determines where your video lives in the platform ecosystem.

Select the main content category that best describes your video.

Choose carefully — this impacts discoverability.

Provider Type / Conditional Type / Treatment Modalities

These radio buttons refine how your content is classified.

  • Provider Type → Content related to your professional discipline
  • Conditional Type → Content related to specific conditions
  • Treatment Modalities → Content related to therapy or method

Choose the one that best fits the content theme.

Sub-Category

Narrow down your topic.

Example:

Category: Mental Health

Sub-Category: Anxiety Disorders

Be specific.

Group

Further refines the topic cluster.

Think of this as the organizational hierarchy.

Sub-Group

The most granular level of classification.

Use this to pinpoint exact relevance.

The more precise you are, the better the algorithm can match your content.

Why Categorization Matters So Much

Accurate categorization:

  • Improves internal search visibility
  • Improves recommendation placement
  • Connects your video to the right users
  • Increases watch time
  • Increases subscriber conversions

If you miscategorize, your video may never be discovered.

Take this section seriously.

Before You Click Save

Checklist:

  • Strong searchable title
  • Detailed description
  • 3–5 focused keywords
  • Proper audience selected
  • Correct category structure
  • Upload completed successfully
